Construction project at the old Birmingham Mint

Year 2010

This is an extremely exciting project for us to undertake as main contractors. Constructed in 1860 this grade 2 listed building will be converted into luxury open plan office space in the heart of the busy Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.

The building is in a poor state of repair and the project has unique issues with planning and conservation which will need to be overcome prior to the project commencing. But we are hoping for a completion date early in 2011.

Refurbishment projects at various Tesco Stores

Year 2010

We have been working for Key Property Solutions (KPS) Main contractors on a number of Tesco refurbishment projects. Our scope was to give the car parking and external customer facing areas a makeover. Works included completing car park resurfacing works, replacing damaged drainage, and landscaping to all areas to improve the general appearance.

The projects are on a fast track retail rollout and we have been able to respond quickly to the needs of our client, with excellent feedback.

Refurbishment projects at various Co-Op Stores

Year 2009 – 2010

We have completed a number of Co-Op stores throughout the country working for Styles & Wood Main Contractors, and Johnson Construction Main Contractors. Our scope of works has included full internal and external refurbishment of various stores. Works have been as varied as forming and installing new external windows, flooring, suspended ceilings, and amendments to heating systems.

These are also fast track retail rollout projects, all of which have been completed on time within budget.
